What is Memoza?
Memoza is an adaptive, course-specific learning and exam-preparation platform. It uses your answers and progress to decide what you should practise, review and learn next.
How is Memoza different from a question bank?
A normal question bank gives every student access to the same collection of questions. Memoza uses your performance to select the concepts, difficulty and repetitions that are most relevant to you.
Does Memoza replace lectures or course material?
No. Memoza does not replace lectures, textbooks or studying itself. It replaces ineffective practice — passive rereading, random question selection and last-minute cramming — by helping you actively practise, retain and master what you are learning.
How does Memoza know what I should study?
Memoza builds a model of your progress using your answers, mistakes, attempts and performance over time. It uses this evidence to determine which concepts need more practice or reinforcement.
Is Memoza specific to my university?
Memoza is designed to support institution-specific courses. Courses can reflect the syllabus, terminology, concept structure and assessment expectations of a particular programme and academic year.
Can Memoza help me prepare for exams?
Yes. Memoza helps you build concept mastery, practise course-relevant questions, improve retention and identify weaknesses before the exam.
Which courses are available?
Six courses are live right now: econometrics, IBEB economics, computer science, geneeskunde, physics and nanobiology, across Erasmus University Rotterdam, TU Delft and Amsterdam UMC. They all run on the same adaptive question engine — what differs is how much of each syllabus is covered so far, which the course list shows per course. Availability may differ by institution and academic year.
Is Memoza only useful before exams?
No. Memoza is designed to support learning throughout the course. Regular practice allows the system to identify weaknesses early and reinforce knowledge before it fades.
Is the grading reliable?
Calculations are checked deterministically against a pre-validated answer — never by an AI. Written proofs are different: an AI model judges which steps of the marking rubric your argument actually evidences, and the points come from the rubric. For a proof that takes a valid route the rubric did not anticipate, the model can award a score itself, shown as a range and always labelled AI-judged. You can retake any question you think was graded wrongly.
What is included for free?
The diagnostic, your personal result, adaptive practice, and topic mastery tracking. The whole current beta is free.
Can I submit handwritten work?
Yes, on any question you answer in your own words. Photograph your working with your phone or upload it from your laptop, and the reading appears in the answer box for you to check and correct before anything is marked — what gets graded is what you confirm, never what the camera guessed. Multiple-choice and ordering questions are answered on screen, so there is nothing to photograph there.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes — when Premium launches you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. There is no lock-in.
